The Whitstable Sessions Music Awards

You've heard of the Oscars, Grammys, Emmys, The Mercury Prize...

Well we are hoping that soon everyone will have heard of the WSMAs (Whitstable Sessions Music Awards). Having become rather disillusioned with the BBC Folk Awards we thought we should start our own.

At the end of the year anyone who has attended the Sessions can vote for their favourite act. Everyone gets 6 votes to allocate how they choose. The act with the most votes wins. In addition we have a number of other awards that are decided by members of the sessions team.

And then in February or March we have an awards ceremony, complete with video links and gold envelopes!
